The Derbyshire Network is a not-for-profit membership-based organisation, made up of colleges, private training providers and third sector organisations, that all have an interest in work-based learning and employability skills training.
Our activities are split into two main functions:
The Derbyshire Network exists to support its Members in enhancing the quality of the Learner journey by improving the teaching and learning Members deliver. This is achieved by promoting Continuous Professional Development, Peer Mentoring and collaborative working. This added value leads to overall business improvement and performance.
It also represents its Members to a wide range of agencies and statutory bodies whose decisions have direct or indirect impact on Members’ businesses and seeks to influence those decisions in the interests of Members.
To become the leading learning and skills network in the country.
Service to employers and potential learners
The Derbyshire Network also acts as an honest broker, helping employers and learners link to appropriate training providers, plus we have a conference room available for hire in Ripley, Derbyshire.
