The handbook describes the main activities inspectors undertake when they conduct inspections of further education and skills providers in England under Part 8 of the Education and Inspections Act 2006.

It also sets out the judgements that inspectors will make and on which they will report. The handbook has two parts:

DART Training are looking for an MI Co-ordinator to join their team.

You would be responsible for line managing the administration team which support all the delivery teams at DART.

DART offer apprenticeships, traineeships, study programmes and other training within the land-based sector.

They are looking for someone from a training background with previous experience of the PICS learner management system.

You will be based at the DART offices in Shardlow, Derby and the salary for this role is from £22,000

The Education Secretary Damian Hinds has announced a £38 million capital funding boost for schools and colleges in the first wave of T-levels.

£38 million is being made available to the first providers of T Levels to make sure pupils taking the new technical qualifications from 2020 have access to the equipment and facilities they need.

Apprenticeships

The government has committed to introducing all new apprenticeship standards in time for August 2020, rather than “by 2020” as previously stated.

Plans to stop funding old apprenticeship frameworks and ensure providers were only delivering new Trailblazer standards were first announced in October 2013, with the frameworks initially planned to end in 2017/18.
