CPD FE and Skills

Delivered by the Education and Training Foundation, this course is part of the English Pipeline programme and Maths Pipeline programme of CPD activities and is split so that delegates spend half a day on each area.

We have negotiated a great deal on a one-day course for you, aimed at practitioners and focusing on embedding approaches to English and maths support in vocational programmes.

The course will be held on 29 June 2016 and runs from 09:30 until 4:30pm with lunch and refreshments provided and is available to members at a cost of just £100.

Are you an existing bksb user or considering using their sytems?

There are only a few places left on The bksb Tour 2016: Mansfield, showing you how you can further support your learners in their Functional Skills or GCSE learning.

The seminar is free to attend for both prospective and existing bksb users and will be held at our Head Office in Nottinghamshire on 30th June.

TDN Members Section

Firstly, we would like to say thank you to Jamie Holland from City and Guilds and Cheryl Knaggs from AELP for coming to speak at our June members’ breakfast.

Lots of discussion took place covering the current Apprenticeship reforms taking place, from the move from Frameworks to Standards through to End Point Assessment and the support available from both organisations through webinars and online toolkits.

Both presentations have been loaded in to the members section along with the Future Apprenticeships Toolkit referenced by Cheryl.

An updated list of all the apprenticeship standards approved by the SFA has recently been updated.

All the Apprenticeship standards approved for delivery include an:

  • approved assessment plan
  • allocated funding cap
  • apprenticeship level

These standards are approved for employers and training organisations to use and can be found on the SFA website here:
