Minimum wage for apprentices rises from April 2018

Are your employers ready for the changes to National Minimum Wage in April?

From next week, the National Minimum Wage will go up for Apprentices, so if you haven’t already, you may want to speak to any employers you have Apprentices with to let them know.

The box below shows the rates for the National Living Wage and the National Minimum Wage. These rates change every April.

 

 

 

 

 

Apprentices are entitled to the apprentice rate if they’re either: aged under 19 aged 19 or over and in the first year of their apprenticeship
